Secretariat members in 2023

Secretariat

The Secretariat operates similar to a board and reports to the Plenary of the PPN. The Secretariat is made up of 12 volunteers. One third of the Secretariat step down each year and elections are held at the Annual General Plenary Meeting to fill these vacancies. Current members of the Secretariat are available under the ‘Representatives‘ tab below.

The Secretariat meets on a monthly basis and is responsible for the day to day running of the PPN. They manage the staff, budget and operations. This includes developing, monitoring and implementing the Fingal PPN Strategic Plan and an annual work plan. You can view Secretariat meeting documents under the ‘Documents‘ tab below.

How can my organisation become a member of the Secretariat?

Secretariat vacancies are filled through election at the Annual General Plenary meeting which is held in April or May annually. Members are notified of vacancies through email and the website. If your organisation is interested in submitting a nomination for a vacancy on the Secretariat, it must be a member of the PPN through the Fingal Community County Register. You can check if your organisation is already on the County Register here.
