Public Survey: Residents’ interactions with ‘neighbourhood biodiversity’ during the COVID-19 pandemic

In these recent and unique times are you finding yourself to be more aware of nature in your locality? Perhaps you are noticing more birdsong, spotting more butterflies or taking notice of ‘weeds’ previously overlooked? Or perhaps not! Nevertheless, we want to hear from you!

We are interested in understanding the impact of the COVID-19 restrictions on your perceptions of ‘neighbourhood biodiversity’. This survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete, is anonymous and will provide invaluable insight into human to nature interactions during a time of unprecedented social isolation.

The survey contains 4 sections:
1. Your local environment during the restriction period (March 27th – June 8th)
2. Your attentiveness to “neighbourhood biodiversity” during the restriction period.
3. Your connection to nature
4. Your background information
