Simply stated – a Humanitarian is a person who works to improve people’s lives and reduce suffering.
This desire to help those in need is at the heart of the Irish Red Cross. To this end the annual Irish Red Cross Humanitarian Awards are a rare opportunity for us to step back and reflect on the incredible acts of kindness and support that are out there, everywhere in large and small communities – and say thank you.
