What is happening at the event? 

Fingal PPN alongside the Mayor and Chief Executive of Fingal County Council will launch:

Fingal Inclusion Week

Fingal Inclusion Week will take place in Fingal for the second year this coming November. Over 30 events will take place across the County of Fingal from 16th to 20th November 2020. This initiative aims to:

  • Highlight the positive work that communities, agencies and other organisations are involved in to reduce social exclusion and poverty in Fingal
  • Raise awareness of the barriers experienced by citizens of Fingal that lead to social exclusion
  • Promote an understanding of inclusion in Fingal and celebrate diversity across the county

Following the launch of Fingal Inclusion Week, the PPN Plenary meeting will take place.

The Secretariat will provide an update on 

  • PPN Activity 
  • Finance  
  • Linkage Groups 

Elections: There are Five SecretariatVacancies

  • One Community Pillar vacancy to be filled.
  • One Social Inclusion Pillar vacancy to be filled. 
  • Three Environment Pillar vacancies to be filled. 

If you you like to put yourself forward for one of these positions, please complete the attached Nomination Form and return to by Wednesday, 4th November at 5pm. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Motions/Advisory Notes  

Due to Covid-19 restrictions this plenary is taking place online. As a result of this, motions cannot be passed at this meeting.  However, advisory notes can be submitted and brought to the Secretariat for further discussion.

Please note that as this is the first virtual plenary session, we will issue further guidance on how this online event is expected to be conducted. More information will be available closer to the time of the event.
