Fingal County Council and Fingal PPN are preparing a programme for Inclusion Week 2019 to take place from 11 to 17 November 2019 across Fingal.
The aim of Inclusion Week is to:
- Highlight the positive work that communities, agencies and other organisations are involved in to reduce social exclusion and poverty in Fingal.
- Raise awareness of the barriers experienced by citizens of Fingal that lead to social exclusion.
- Promoting an understanding of inclusion in Fingal.
- Celebrating diversity across the county.
Through the PPN, a steering committee of community and agency representatives has been setup to coordinate this initiative.
How can you and why should you get involved?
During Inclusion Week, we want to provide community organisations across Fingal with a platform to highlight the inclusive work that your community is doing or the advocacy initiatives your group are working on.
You can get involved by hosting an activity, event or open meeting during Inclusion Week that could be included in an Inclusion Week Programme of Events that will be advertised heavily throughout October and November on the lead up to Inclusion Week 2019.
