The Diabetes Ireland Educational Webinar Series continues for 2023 with our March Webinar taking on ‘Screening for Diabetic Retinopathy’.
Our guest speaker is Ms Louise O’Toole, who is an Ophthalmologist at the Mater Private Hospital in Dublin. Her area of expertise is Medical retina, Age-related macular degeneration, and Diabetic eye disease.
During this webinar, the following will be covered:
- A general overview of the importance of looking after your eyes with diabetes.
- How to access and the benefits of attending the RetinaScreen programme.
- Complications associated with diabetes and retinopathy in Ireland.
