Community Facilities Enhancement – Targeted Call for Funding

What Can Be Funded?

  • Investment in facilities, equipment, fixtures, and fittings that enable community organisations to expand or improve services and activities.
  • Initiatives that improve access to services and promote inclusion for hard-to-reach groups.
  • Capital projects emerging from Smart village Plans, Villages Health Check reports and Town Centre First Plans.

💰 Funding Details:

  • Individual Project Funding: €50,000 – €150,000
  • Projects that demonstrate additional merits can be funded up to €200,000
  • Grant Aid Rate: Up to 75%
  • Total Budget Available for call: €700,000

🌍 Who Can Apply:

  • Community groups, youth organisations, community councils, social enterprises, sports organisations, disability  organisations, charities and groups representing communities with limited  access to services or transport.
  • You must be located within the LEADER Operational Area.

  • Deadline for EOIs: 27th March 2026
  • EOI Assessment & Notification: 30th March -17th April 2026

  • Support hard-to-reach, new, or disadvantaged communities
  • Demonstrate innovation, sustainability, and strong community benefit
  • Build local capacity and engagement
