Also, please see the survey here on behalf of Sinead Shannon.
Sinead Shannon, who formerly worked with AFI, is completing her PhD research in Trinity College with funding from the Irish Research Council.
She is focusing her dissertation on Age Friendly Alliances as models of collaborative working. She has selected Age Friendly Alliances as they are cohesive, mature groups and there is potential for other structures to learn from the model of the Alliance. To this end she is asking members of Age Friendly Alliances to complete a short online survey about their experience of working on the Alliance.
Sinead has significant experience in researching Age Friendly issues, having been heavily involved in the Healthy and Positive Ageing survey. She has been linking with our office regarding survey design, to ensure that the data generated will be relevant to our programme, and to minimise the time required to complete the form.
Sinead will also be conducting interviews with a sample of Alliance members.
We will invite Sinead to present her research when her findings are collated. Thank you for your support of the Age Friendly Programme
This knowledge should support the work of AFI in terms of the model of collaborative-working, and can potentially inform future collaborations in other public sector settings.
