Everything you wanted to know about disability but were afraid to ask Part 3: Let’s talk about the Social Model of Disability: and why that matters!

The Social Model of disability has driven much of the successes of the Global Disability Rights Movement. Developed by disabled people it informs many key policy approaches including the UNCRPD. The panel will feature inputs from ILMI ONSIDE Disability Equality Coordinator Dr James Casey, disabled activist and author of “The War on Disabled People” Ellen Clifford, ILMI VOICE Community Development worker Paula Soraghan and ILMI Strategies for Change Coordinator Fiona Weldon.
