The Wheel / Carmichael: Impact Management Capacity Building Webinar (Free Webinar)

The Wheel are delighted to once again collaborate with Carmichael to deliver this webinar as part of 2023’s Charity Trustees’ Week.

The management of social impact remains elusive for many organisations in the charity and nonprofit sector. When impact is considered, it is usually thought of as a task of measurement done to prove one’s worth to funders, as opposed to a comprehensive way of approaching all that one does to improve life for one’s beneficiaries. Although the situation is gradually getting better, there are many organisations who remain in need of support.

How can nonprofits understand, measure, demonstrate and improve their impact to be more accountable to their stakeholders and increase support for their organisation?

What is Impact Management Capacity Building and how do we go about it?

Why do nonprofit organisations and their funders consider it important?

What was the experience of an organisation having gone through the process?

In this webinar we will:

  1. Look at the steps involved in Impact Management Capacity Building:
    1. Understanding Impact
    2. Capturing Impact
    3. Measuring Impact
    4. Reporting on Impact
  2. Hear a funder’s perspective on why Impact Management Capacity Building matters to them
  3. Hear the perspective of  an organisation that has recently gone through this process.

This event is part of the 2023 Charity Trustees’ Week.
