Meet the Hosts:
Sarah Monaghan joined The Wheel in March 2019 as Campaigns Manager. Her role, within the public policy team, involves assessing the pressing issues and areas for change identified by our membership and proactively developing campaign strategies and plans to address them. Sarah was previously a founding member of the National Executive of Together for Yes, which successfully repealed the 8th Amendment and a Director on the Campaign to Re-elect Michael D Higgins.
Jennifer Crowe joined The National Lottery in 2018 as Brand and Marketing Manager, after almost 15 years in various marketing roles in RTÉ TV and RTÉ Radio. She has recently moved into a brand new role within The National Lottery as CSR & Good Causes Relationship Manager, focusing on building sustainable, collaborative and trusted relationships with Good Causes distributing bodies and beneficiaries, as well as finding and disseminating impactful stories of where the money raised by National Lottery players has been deployed.
Meet the Trainers
Aisling O’Sullivan, Board Director, STARCOM (part of Core), is a media and marketing specialist with 10 year’s experience across a range of high profile global and local clients in the UK, Australian and Irish markets. Aisling returned to Ireland and joined Starcom in 2016 and quickly assume a number of senior management positions. Aisling has managed The National Lottery media business for the past 4 years during which time, she has helped her client received numerous of industry awards for best-in-class strategies and campaigns.
Mike Garner, Creative Director, CORE is a highly experienced creative practitioner with a deep understanding of the effective use of creativity in all aspects of communication. One of the most highly awarded creatives in Ireland, Mike has won a vast number of national and international advertising awards, including Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, and ICAD as well as awards in more specialist disciplines such as sponsorship, direct response and direct mail.
Fiona McGarry, Production Director, CORE, started her advertising career in Peter Owens Limited in 1980 and then moved on to McConnells Advertising Service and stayed for 12 years having progressed to the board of directors of their subsidiary. In 1995, she set up her own consultancy. Fiona has over 40 years’ experience and has made close to 20,000 radio commercials and produced nearly 1000 original TV commercials in that time.
