Shine: Supporting people affected by mental ill health will run three online support groups in June

4-Week Introductory Groups are for:
People Living with self-experience of mental health challenges (1 group)
WHEN:
 Thursdays June 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th (06:30pm – 07:30pm)

and

Relatives and supporters of a person with mental health challenges (2 groups)
WHEN: Tuesdays June 14th, 21st, 28th and July 5th (11am – 12noon) OR (06:30pm – 07:30pm)

Shine will meet weekly for one hour over 4 weeks. The sessions will be delivered over Zoom. Trained Shine facilitators will facilitate groups, and each week will share and support one another. The group will introduce and explore what peer support and recovery can mean for you.

Some of the things that will be covered during sessions:

  • Introduce ideas and approaches that others have found helpful
  • Reassurance that you are not alone in how you are feeling
  • Help connect with others and give a sense of belonging
