Rural Connectivity and Sustainability Workshop

The Wheel and NICVA invite you to join a free workshop in Dublin (or online) on Thursday, 19 May, about rural connectivity and sustainability across the Island of Ireland.

What supports and protections are needed to address rural out-migration, transport issues, and changes in traditional local livelihoods?

How can we help to make sure that rural communities continue to benefit from the remote culture that was accelerated by the pandemic?

Come have your say and contribute to a report and policy recommendations on these key topics.

This free, in-depth workshop runs from 10:30am to 3:30pm at the Carmichael Centre, 4 Brunswick Street North, Dublin 7. Lunch will be provided.

This workshop is part of a new programme called iCommunity, which promotes collaboration between nonprofits and social enterprises in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
