Up to 25 rowing boats from all along the East Coast will be taking on the 15km Row the Rock challenge on Saturday 27th August. Boats of different categories will be arriving on the South Strand from 9.30am, first gun at 10.30am with beach sprints, race starts staggered depending on handicap. It’s a tough race straight out to sea, around the rock and back to the South Strand with a race to the finish line up the beach. Not for the faint-hearted! With a bit of help from the weather gods it promises to be a great spectacle so come on down, join the fun and support your local crews!
