Purpose of this Information Page
Fingal PPN has created this information page to assist PPN Groups who wish to make a submission to the Fingal The County Development Plan 2023 – 2029.
Note: We are at stage two of the public consultation cycle.
Note: The podcast and videos were created in preparation for stage One (Pre-draft). They have been included here as they are still a useful resource.
What is the County Development Plan
The Fingal Development Plan sets out the vision for how Fingal should develop over the life of the Plan while ensuring compliance with national and regional policy. The Development Plan presents an opportunity for the general public to shape Fingal for the future when it comes to important issues such as housing, economic development, community and heritage.
Journey of Plan to Date
County Development Plan goes through the following public consultation cycle
- Pre-draft consultation – March 2021
(The CE produces a report based on the submissions of this Pre-draft consultation)
2. Draft Development Plan consultation – This is where we currently at with a deadline of 12th May 2022.
3. Public Consultation on Amendments as a result of the previous Draft Development Plan Consultation in May. This final consultation period will take place over four weeks in November.
Series of Workshops/Events to Support PPN Members on the Fingal Draft Development Plan
