Fingal County Council restored the wetland at the Bog of Frogs in 2022 and plenty of creatures have moved into this new habitat. As part of Fingal Biodiversity Event Programme – join Rob Gandola on a guided walk to see and learn about what lurks in the often overlooked world of freshwater ponds. Have you ever wondered about what happens below the surface, in this secret life of ponds? Most people are completely unaware of the many insects and amphibians that feed, breed and live in these environments. As this is an outdoor event, make sure that anyone attending is dressed in warm, comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes. Footwear suitable for boggy conditions is ideal. The ground may be uneven and difficult for those with limited mobility.
