The Programme provides capital funding support to local Groups, particularly those in disadvantaged areas. Funding is available to support small capital works/improvements, the purchase of equipment for community use i.e. tables and chairs, tools and signage, laptops and printers, lawnmowers, canopies and training equipment.
The LEP 2024 is administered by Local Community Development Committees and aims to support local strategic priorities and link with the Council’s Local Economic Community Plan (LECP). The Fingal County Council’s allocation of €220,842.98 includes a separate provision of €36,807.17 to support Fingal’s Women’s Groups in recognition of the growing number of Women’s Sheds, and local groups which provide social networks for women.
Applications are now being sought from Community and Voluntary Groups in Fingal for grants up to a maximum of €10,000 for Capital Funding with a closing date for receipt of applications of Friday, 8th March 2024 at 5pm.
