To mark World Stroke Day, starting on the week of the 24 October, the Irish Heart Foundation will be running a series of free online Talks for those affected by stroke on the most common challenges, be they physical, emotional, financial or lifestyle-related.
Featuring stroke survivors, health professionals and other experts, this series provides practical advice and guidance to help you live well at home after stroke. Our Talks are designed for stroke survivors and their families and for health professionals with an interest in stroke recovery and rehabilitation.
Most of the Talks will be hosted on Zoom, and you will be able to find the registration links at the bottom of this page. Some of the Talks, which have been pre-recorded will be available only to members of the Life After Stroke Facebook page – so make sure to sign up if you’d like to watch these Talks.
