Intellectual Disability Practice & Community Health Services course
– two QQI Level 5 modules available:
Social Studies – 30.05.22
Work Practice – 01.08.22
– Classes and assessments online with exception of Social Studies written exam which will take place in Dublin.
– Suitable for anyone working in the care sector such as support workers, care assistants, SNAs, community workers, youth workers to name but a few.
Learning outcomes include understanding sociology, the process and agents of socialisation, impact of discrimination on various members of society, developing research skills, understanding structure, legislation and regulation of organisations, best work practices and much more.
