Fingal County Council has commenced its Development Plan review process with the publication on the 12th of March 2021 of the Pre-Draft Strategic Issues Paper. The Strategic Issues Paper presents an overview of the critical issues facing Fingal and sets out by theme, some of the key issues that may need to be addressed by the new Plan. The Strategic Issues Paper is available to view on www.fingal.ie/developmentplan and on the Consult Fingal Portal at https://consult.fingal.ie/
This initial phase of consultation will run between the 12th of March and the 12th of May 2021. Submissions during this phase of consultation may be made by uploading to https://consult.fingal.ie/ or by post to the Development Plan Team, Planning and Strategic Infrastructure Department, Fingal County Council, County Hall, Main St., Swords, Co. Dublin, K67X8Y2. Submissions must be received by 11.59p.m. on the 12th of May 2021.
Public Consultation Events
As part of the Development Plan review process, Fingal County Council is eager to engage with all interested organisations, community groups and individuals. A series of Public Consultation Webinar events will be held between the 13th and 22nd of April, and will discuss a number of the Themes raised in the recently published Strategic Issues Paper.

Further to the notification earlier this week of the upcoming public consultation webinars scheduled between the 13th and 22nd of April in relation to the Fingal Development Plan review process, there has been a minor adjustment to the running order due to unforeseen circumstances.
