Fingal Community Facilities Network website is LIVE!

Fingal Community Facilities Network have launched their new website, showcasing a wide range of information on 31 community facilities. This project is supported and funded by Fingal County Council’s Community Development Office. The website features a page on each community facility and includes information on activities taking place in the facility, location, photos, and spaces available for hire.  It is hoped that the website will be used as a resource by communities around Fingal and will provide weekly updates and information on activities and events happening across Fingal.

Each facility featured is a member of the Fingal Community Facilities Network which was set up by the Community Development Office in 2017. The main role of the Facilities Network is to provide a forum for discussion, training, and collaborations.

As well as the facility information pages, the new website also features pages for resources for community groups as well as news and events pages for all that’s happening in Fingal County Council supported Community Centres.

You can visit the website at www.fingalcommunityfacilitiesnetwork.ie

This website is the result of four years of successful collaboration between our office’s Community Facilities Management Support Unit and the Fingal Community Facilities Network. The website was developed by a working group comprising of representatives of the Network and the Community Development Office. Together with the web designers Neo-Archaic they have produced a website which will be an extremely useful and accessible tool for any member of the community to see what services are available to them at their nearest Community Centre.”

Network member and Castleknock Community Centre manager Catherine Coady

“Having our community centre as a member of the Fingal Community Facilities Network means collaborating with and supporting all our facility colleagues across Fingal and this website is a strong testament to that. This website will help all our facilities and the communities we serve in Fingal to work together to help as many individuals and groups as possible access these facilities, whether it is for sports, arts, meetings, or events. We are looking forward to a busy 2022 so the time is right to have this website shared with the people of Fingal”.
