Fingal Community Alert is a voluntary group who work in conjunction with the Department of Environment & Pobal. They make applications through Pobal for a personal security alarm on behalf of vulnerable senior citizens.
Any persons over the age of 65 is eligible to apply for these alarms, and they are free if you have a working landline. They also receive 1 year’s free monitoring.
Anyone who doesn’t have a landline will have to pay €72 per annum.
