Draft Transport Strategy for the Greater Dublin Area

The National Transport Authority (the “NTA”) have prepared a preliminary draft Transport Strategy for the Greater Dublin Area (the “draft Strategy”) in accordance with section 12 of the 2008 Dublin Transport Authority Act (the “Act”). The draft strategy sets out the framework for investment in transport infrastructure and services for a twenty year period from 2022 to 2042.

In accordance with section 12 (8) of the Act, the draft Strategy is now on display for public consultation and feedback. The draft Strategy Report, an Executive Summary, statutory Environmental Reports and other supporting documents  are now available to view at www.nationaltransport.ie.

If you wish to provide a submission on behalf of your organisation we would ask that you submit your comments via our website www.nationaltransport.ie using the Consultation Portal, which will facilitate attachments if required.

The closing date for submissions is Friday 17th December 2021.
