Consultation on Fingal PPN Constitution

Consultation

Members of the PPN are invited to provide feedback if they so wish on the PPN Constitution. The consultation period runs from 10th June 2019 to midday on 15th August 2019. 

Feedback from the consultation will be reviewed by a Steering Committee (see below for Terms of Reference and Membership). Having reviewed the feedback, the Steering Committee may propose amendments that will be brought to the Plenary meeting of the PPN on 6th November 2019.

Open Meetings

Three open meetings for PPN members will be held as follows: 

  • 6th August: 6pm to 9pm, Civic Offices Blanchardstown
  • 7th August: 6pm to 9pm, Aster FRC, 1 Georges Court, Balbriggan

The purpose of these meetings is for members who are interested in the constitution and who are interested in giving feedback on the constitution. These meetings are for feedback and clarification questions on the constitution only. 

Registration for these meetings is compulsory. Meetings with no pre-registrations will not go ahead.

If you would like to comment on or make a submission about the PPN Constitution, you can do so by:

  • Email to: ppn@fingal.ie with ‘PPN Constitution’ in the subject line.
  • Post to: PPN Constitution, Fingal PPN, Community Department, Civic Offices, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 (to arrive no later than 15th August).

Suggested format:

Members can provide comment on the constitution in any format they please. However while not obligatory it, is suggested that submissions include references to:

  • Section of Constitution
  • Page Number
  • Issue/Comment
  • Proposed Solution
  • Justification

This will assist the Steering Group in considering the feedback you provide.

Constitution Steering Committee

The Secretariat has set up a Steering Group to review feedback received during the consultation process and make recommendations to the next Plenary meeting of the PPN in November 2019.

It is envisioned that this steering committee will meet on the 22nd August 2019 with one additional meeting if required.
