Fingal Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) invites applications from community groups for funding under the Department of Rural & Community Development for the Community Support Fund (CSF) 2022 as part of the wider Community Enhancement Programme. A fund of €341,875 has been allocated to Fingal.
This fund has been designed to support groups with their energy costs who may not have been deemed eligible under previous Government Schemes. Groups can also use the funding to carry out small upgrade works and to purchase equipment to support their activities.
Community and Voluntary Groups can apply for funding through the Council’s online application process, please note that this year there are two separate application forms for the two separate funding streams to make the process of applying for funding easier for groups.
The first funding stream is for Current Expenses i.e. operating and running costs such as utility bills, rental/lease costs and insurance bills. Applications can be submitted up to a maximum value of €3,500 via the following link: https://submit.link/1ps
The second funding stream is for Capital Expenditure such as the costs of repairs/improvements to facilities, purchase of IT equipment, furniture, tools, signage, training equipment etc. Applications can be submitted up to a maximum value of €10,000 via the following link: https://submit.link/1nG
There is also separate funding ring-fenced to provide support for Women’s Sheds and the Council is liaising directly with Women’s Sheds regarding this funding.
