Minister Humphreys encourages local groups to submit their applications as deadline for Community Centre Investment Fund approaches
- Closing date for applications is 3pm on Thursday 29th August
- Grants of up to €100,000 available to upgrade existing Community Centres
- With 10 days to go, Minister urges local groups to get their applications submitted
The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, is encouraging community groups nationwide to avail of funding to support the upgrade and refurbishment of community centres ahead of the closing date for applications on Thursday 29th August.
Under the Community Centres Investment Fund 2024, community organisations will be supported with grants of between €10,000 – €100,000 to develop and enhance their existing community facilities.
All applicants must register as ‘users’ on the online portal here. There have been a number of online information events to assist potential applicants, recordings of these events together with a range of information supports and access to the online portal can be found at the Department of Rural & Community Development website here.
