New grant programme from MSD is calling for NGOs to enter with €45k to €275k funding available for projects, depending on the proposal and scope of submissions.
MSD Ireland is proud to announce the launch of a new global programme to support NGOs and charities working to improve health and well-being. Named ‘Solutions for Healthy Communities’, the programme is designed to support innovative, non-profit organisations that work to expand access to quality healthcare via community-based solutions that reach populations which may be historically underserved by the healthcare system.
MSD is currently taking applications from organisations that have programmes that could be suitable under this grant. The deadline for submissions is Friday, 2nd June 2023.
The programme aims to expand equitable access to health through community-driven solutions. To achieve this, it will focus on applications that fall under three main areas:
- Community-based service delivery models and community-clinic partnership models that expand access to healthcare.
- Mobile or telemedicine solutions to reach better rural communities.
- Investments to strengthen the community health workforce.
The grant has a length of two years and can cover projects ranging from approx. €45,500 to approx. €275,000 depending on the proposal and project scope. All relevant organisations are welcome to apply by the Friday 2nd June deadline.
