The EU JTF Community and Enterprise Grants Scheme is now open for applications!

The Scheme will provide grant support to the following eligible organisations in the EU Just Transition Fund Territory:

  • Community and Voluntary Organisations (CVOs) or Not for Profit Organisations (NGOs)
  • Social Enterprises (SEs)
  • Micro and Small to Medium Sized Organisations (MSME)

The deadline for applications is 22 February 2024. Organisations must be registered to the MyPobal portal to complete the application form.

The purpose of this funding is to support local community organisations and small to medium sized enterprises to create employment opportunities and provide skills training in a green, circular and low carbon economy for communities that were previously heavily dependent on peat production.

Eligible organisations can apply for grants of up to €300,000 under this scheme. A total of €5million is available in this scheme that is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the EU Just Transition Fund. It is the second call under the EU JTF providing direct support to the implementation of Local and Regional Economic Strategies.
