The Fingal Mayor’s Community Volunteer Awards takes place at the end of May.

Over 150 nominations were received for more than 90 members of the Fingal Community during the month of April. Each nominee was nominated in one of five categories. An independent judging panel will be adjudicating over these in the coming weeks.

Separately, the Fingal Mayor’s People’s Choice Award will be decided by Public Vote.

Background Information

These awards, led by Mayor Mary McCamley, exist to acknowledge the efforts made by individuals who contribute positively to their communities in Fingal through their volunteering efforts. Individuals from across Fingal are being acknowledged by their community.

These individuals dedicate their time and effort to making a positive impact and lasting impression in their local area.

The People’s Choice Award will be decided through this public vote.

Please note:

  • Only residents of the Fingal County Council administrative area are eligible to vote in this scheme and can only vote once.
  • Any futher votes by the same person will disgarded.
  • You are requested to submit your contact details to verify your vote. A phone number is required and an email is optional.
  • The contact details you submit will be destroyed by the 19th June 2018.
  • Your contact details will not be passed on to any 3rd party.
  • A random sampling of votes will be authenticated by phone or email after the closing date.
  • If you are not in agreement with any of the points noted, please do not progress with this process.
