The PPN has a number of vacancies and we are inviting nominations to fill these.

PPN Secretariat: 6 Vacancies

The Secretariat is the board of the PPN and is responsible for the day to day management of the PPN. This is a 12 person board made up of PPN members. They meet on a monthly basis, oversee the development of the PPN, the management of PPN staff and the PPN budget. We have 6 vacancies on this board:

  • 3 Environment Vacancies
  • 2 Social Inclusion Vacancies
  • 1 Community and Voluntary Vacancy

Local Community Development Committee (LCDC): 5 Vacancies

The Local Community Development Committee is a committee that implements the Fingal Local Economic and Community Plan, oversees the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme and the LEADER programme. The LCDC also administers funding schemes such as the Community Facilities Scheme, the RAPID fund and the Healthy Ireland Fund. We have 5 vacancies on this board:

  • 1 Environment Vacancies
  • 2 Social Inclusion Vacancies
  • 2 Community and Voluntary Vacancy

Nominations will be circulated to all PPN members after the deadline. 

If more nominations are received than seats being available, elections for these positions will take place at the Plenary meeting at 8pm on Tuesday 24th April in the Carnegie Court Hotel in Swords.
