The main function of the Secretariat will be to ensure the proper function of Fingal Public Participation Network between Plenary meetings through coordinating and implementing the work of FPPN and Linkage Groups.
Ensuring that the Network operates to the highest possible standard.
Support and monitor the work of Network Representatives
Support the work of the Network Resource Worker
Promote the Network amongst its Members and in the wider community.
Work with the Fingal County Council Community Development Office regarding the Council’s oversight responsibility.
Co-ordinate activities of the PPN
Communicate with all PPN members and disseminate information on PPN activities
The membership of the Secretariat is elected and ratified at the County Plenary session, if required
How can my organisation become a member of the Secretariat?
At present we have full membership, however when positions become available we notify all members. The basic requirement for Secretariat membership is to register on Fingal Community County Register and be a member of Fingal Public Participation Network. In addition members must be available to attend meetings and undertake assigned task.

The Secretariat comprises of 13 members from the Electoral Colleges of Social Inclusion, Community & Voluntary and Environment. We strive for a fair geographical spread and gender balance. At present the members of the Secretariat are:
