Creative Ireland is the Government’s Legacy Programme for Ireland 2016 – a five year initiative, from 2017 to 2022, which places creativity at the centre of public policy. It is a culture based programme designed to promote individual, community and national wellbeing. The core proposition is that cultural activity drives personal and collective creativity, with significant implications for individual and societal wellbeing and achievement.

Fingal County Council welcomes the Creative Ireland Initiative. The programme will give an opportunity to work with everyone to develop the ‘Creative Ireland – Fingal Programme’. It will help to capture the existing creative culture picture in Fingal and inform the development of our five year creative culture plan 2017-2022 for the county.

Fingal County Council has established a Creative Culture Team tasked with the development of the Creative Ireland Plan for Fingal. On Monday 24th of April 2017, Fingal County Council will host a Creative Ireland Public Information Session in the Carlton Hotel, Old Airport Road, Cloghran, Swords.
